Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Geologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geological surveys, analyzing data, and supporting exploration and mining operations with expert advice.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Conduct field investigations, rock sampling, and mapping. 2. Analyze geological data and generate technical reports. 3. Assist in exploration planning and mineral resource estimation. 4. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. 5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and surveyors.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (Master’s an added advantage). 2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in mining/exploration. 3. Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Surpac, ArcGIS, Micromine). 4. Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
