Job Description The Fuel Data Capturer will be responsible for accurately recording, monitoring, and reconciling all fuel-related transactions within the depot. The role ensures smooth fuel management processes, data integrity, and proper reporting to support operational efficiency and accountability in the fuel value chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Capture and update all fuel receipts, issues, and transfers into the system in real time. -Reconcile daily fuel usage, stock levels, meter readings, and delivery records. -Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fuel usage reports for management review. -Identify variances, investigate discrepancies, and escalate anomalies promptly. -Maintain accurate filing and documentation of all fuel-related records. -Liaise with depot supervisors, drivers, and accounts personnel to ensure correct and complete data flow. -Monitor fuel consumption trends and highlight irregular patterns. -Ensure compliance with internal controls, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
-Degree/HND in Accounting, Business Administration, or any other relevant qualification. -Experience in the fuel industry is a MUST. -Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity. -Solid data entry, reporting, and reconciliation skills. -Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines.
