job Description

The Foreman (Bulk Earthworks) will oversee and coordinate all on-site earthworks operations to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to engineering standards. You’ll be the on-ground commander making sure timelines are met, teams stay productive, and quality stays on point.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Supervising daily bulk earthworks activities on site.
-Coordinating site teams, machinery, and subcontractors.
-Ensuring compliance with project specifications and engineering drawings.
-Monitoring progress and reporting to site management.
-Enforcing strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.
-Identifying site challenges and recommending practical solutions.
-Ensuring equipment is used correctly and maintained properly.
-Preparing daily site reports and progress summaries.

Qualifications and Experience

-Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field.
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in bulk earthworks within the construction industry.
-Strong leadership and communication skills.
-Solid understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
-Proven track record in managing earthworks teams and large-scale projects.
