Summary: The work schedule for this position is: 40 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities

United States Citizen working in the Financial Management Office, the Financial Management Assistant assists the Financial Management Officer and Financial Specialist to manage all financial matters at post, including regulatory compliance, budget preparation, voucher processing, funds management, accounting oversight, and cash management.

Qualifications and Experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum three years of Finance/Accounting-related work experience in government or private sector involving analysis, evaluation, controls, and reporting required.

Education Requirements: A minimum of two years of college studies is required.

LANGUAGE: English level IV (Fluent) Written/Speaking/Reading is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Prior experience related to financial operations, such as Finance/Accounting-related work experience in government or private sector involving analysis, evaluation, controls, and reporting.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Incumbent must be organized and a highly detailed-oriented team player with a customer service focus. The ability to explain to outside customers our rules and procedures is important. Ability to understand and interpret complex regulations. Necessary to have good math skills. Incumbent must be proficient with a personal computer and related Microsoft Office software and be able to learn various computer software applications. The position requires professional written and oral skills.
