Our client, a leading manufacturing and retail company, is seeking an experienced Financial Director to join their executive team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and profitability - Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and oversight on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting - Design and implement effective finance and business controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies - Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team, enabling informed business decisions - Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, banks, government agencies, and customers - Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment of financial and operational objectives
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) - Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing and retail environment - Proven track record of driving business growth, improving profitability, and leading high-performing finance teams - Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
