job Description

Our company (Fresh Delight Estates) is seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor to oversee our poultry operations.

Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Farm Supervisor with extensive knowledge of chicken rearing to manage our poultry farm. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal bird health, productivity, and efficiency and will perform hands-on tasks with the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervise poultry farm operations, including feeding, breeding, and health management.
2. Monitor and control disease outbreaks, implementing biosecurity measures.
3. Manage feed, medication, and vaccine inventory.
4. Train and supervise farm staff.
5. Maintain farm records and report to management.
6. Implement and maintain quality control and assurance standards.
7. Ensure compliance with animal welfare and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

1. 2+ years of experience in poultry farm management.
2. In-depth knowledge of chicken rearing, breeding, and health management.
3. Diploma or degree in Agricultural Science, Animal Science, or related field.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications:
2. Knowledge of HACCP and quality assurance.
3. Certification in poultry management or related field.
