Duties and Responsibilities

-The full time position is to be the lead role in caring for our Boer Goats and a wide variety of farm livestock, driving daily routines, and ensuring the smooth running of a small friendly team.
-You will have a passion for farming and broad experience in people and livestock management.
-You will be able, enthusiastic and pro active, happy to be fully involved “hands on” in every area of the farm life – implementing our breeding program, lambing, kidding, weaning, field maintenance and fencing, tractor work, open days with the public and cleaning out schedules.
-You will share responsibility for paper work, online reporting and recording, and liase closely with the onwer.
-You must have an intelligent and committed responsible attitude to handling, moving and medicating goats, cattle, sheep, pigs is a plus.
