Position Overview: As an Exploration And Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for on locating and assessing natural resources, such as minerals, oil, gas, or groundwater. The work typically involves: • Conducting geological surveys and investigations. • Using advanced technologies like seismic imaging or drilling to explore underground deposits. • Analyzing environmental impacts of resource extraction. • Collaborating with industries like mining or energy to optimize resource utilization.
Duties and Responsibilities
•They design and oversee the construction of key structures like dams, spillways, tunnels, and powerhouses. •Conduct site investigations and hydrological studies to ensure the safety and stability of the infrastructure. •Manage the construction process, ensuring that the project adheres to timelines, budgets, and safety standards. •Address challenges like water flow management, erosion control, and structural integrity under varying environmental conditions. Supervision: Supervise contractors, negotiate changes, control quality, measure work done, approve and accept works. Project Management: Lead or work on a team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field. A -Master’s degree or additional certifications in civil, mechanical or mining engineering is highly desirable. -Minimum 4 years of experience in Civil /mechanical engineering , with a strong focus on mining applications.
