Duties and Responsibilities

-Supervise radio station operations, including programming, news and current affairs, and scheduling.
-Ensure compliance with the content requirements stipulated in the Broadcasting Services Act.
-Oversee producers, studio sessions, live broadcasts, and news bulletins.
-Ensure editorial integrity and high broadcast quality.
-Lead interface with resource persons, clients and representatives from regulatory authorities
-Develop new programmes and revamp existing flagship shows to retain listenership.
-Ensure broadcasting continuity and quality control.
-Achieve monthly revenue targets in liaison with the Manager.
-Ensure quality production and broadcast of adverts and sponsored programmes.
-Monitor market trends to improve client satisfaction and programming
-Implement professional updating skills training for producers.
