Location : Harare Workshop
Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is a leading supplier of equipment, tools, parts, service and solutions for processing rock and minerals in the mining and infrastructure industries. The focus lies on bringing value to customers through high-performing products that increase productivity and safety as well as to provide services and flexible maintenance programs that extend uptime and cut costs.

The role:
The role involves input of service data in the system and assisting in the preparation and analysis of service information and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The EQ Administrators works closely with the finance team and may also collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.

Duties and Responsibilities

The EQ Administrator will be responsible for controlling all EQ processes and procedures. The various skills/competences are, among other things:
-Assisting in service contracts costs analysis and control.
-Assisting in management reports for managerial decisions.
-Ensuring accurate data input in the system and accurate invoicing
-Advising the Site Accountant, Operations Contracts Manager, Workshop Manager and Maintenance Managers on cost control and profitability.
-Ensuring effective internal and external stakeholder management.
-Assisting the EQ Controller in ensuring timely completion of monthly reporting, internal and external audits completion.
-Monitoring of internal controls for Service and EQ as per the Sandvik internal controls matrix

Qualifications and Experience

The EQ Administrator is expected to have the following qualifications:
-Degree in Financial Accounting or Currently working toward the similar qualification and in the current or similar role.
-Postgraduate Qualification or CA/ACCA or similar will be an added advantage
-At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar finance role.
-Valid driver’s license and defensive drivers’ licence

Technical competence:
-Proficiency in business management and accounting software, Power BI, BPC
-Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
-Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.

Behavioural competence:
-Ability to focus on the customer needs.
-Ability to negotiate with the customer to settle invoices timely.
-Ability to liaise with customer.
-Ability to collaborate with customers for a win solution.
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability to handle month-end pressure and meet the set deadlines.

Problem solving:
-Ability to solve problem on adherence to operational controls and need to meet operational targets, ensure supply chain is up to date by liaising with both customer and suppliers.

Interpersonal Skills
-Ability to work with diverse individuals from customers, suppliers, mine employees, senior management team and colleagues to ensure the work is done.

Communication:
-Ensure regular communication and feedback to all relevant stakeholders.
-Give regular update and feedback to the team on process improvement.
