Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage the staging and testing of hardware components for new or repaired hardware. -Monitor user license activation for operating systems and applications. -Design the hardware set-up of EFT systems and verify the components of all new devices. -Supervise installation of Operating System software and Application software on servers. -Ensure testing on EFT System component is done successfully before deployment. -Review regular preventative maintenance on user machines and on EFT Hardware. -Review all system documentation for server infrastructure, EFT systems, and end-user computing devices such as Desktops, Laptops and Tablets. -Implement and verify IT security controls across all server infrastructure, EFT systems, and end-user computing devices. -Monitor all Data Centre equipment and review Disaster Recovery plans and invocation procedures. -Manage of the datacenter maintenance for both production and Disaster recovery. -Manage provisioning and testing of ATM hardware components. -Lead, manage and direct the support team.
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology HP FLAPS, HP Blade systems Administration, Microsoft, Security+, A+ or equivalent. -ITIL Foundation and other relevant certifications -5 Years’ experience of Hardware/Desktop/EFT systems support -Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, EFT systems and Computer Hardware architecture and maintenance
