ELECTRICAL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEER
XUGONG ZIMBABWE (PVT) LTD, a company based in Harare specializing in the leasing and servicing of mining and construction equipment, is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical and Automation Engineer to join its growing operations team.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation faults on mining and construction equipment.
-Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems.
-Program and troubleshoot PLC and control systems.
-Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy machinery.
-Maintain industrial automation and monitoring systems.
-Perform equipment diagnostics and commissioning.
-Supervise electrical servicing and repair operations.
-Provide technical support and training to local technicians.
-Prepare maintenance and technical reports.
-Ensure equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime.

Qualifications and Experience

-Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation or related field.
-Experience in mining, construction equipment, or industrial operations is an added advantage.
-Knowledge of PLC systems, industrial automation, and heavy equipment diagnostics.
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and under pressure.
