Job Title: Education and Life Skills Program Graduate Intern (x1)
Location: National Office, Harare
Purpose of the Position
To support the Education Department in delivering quality education programmes and ensuring smooth daily operations. The role involves assisting with education programming, monitoring and reporting, partner coordination, and basic administration. The intern will help ensure activities are well-organized, evidence-focused, and responsive to internal and external stakeholders, while gaining practical exposure to education programming and contributing to project delivery, compliance, and learning.
-Assist with planning, coordination, and follow-up of education activities across projects.
-Participate in school visits, meetings, and field monitoring where required.
-Participate in Education related training.
-Compile activity schedules, attendance lists, and basic reports.
-Draft sections of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
-Organize project documents in line with internal standards.
-Support preparation of presentations and briefs for meetings.
-Report and document remaining clear, timely, and compliant with organizational requirements.
-Support coordination and communication schedules, including meetings and preparation.
-Manage filing systems for education projects.
-Support procurement processes, travel arrangements, and logistics.
-Inventory linked to education projects. End results.
-Administrative processes run smoothly and support programme efficiency.
-Support learning and knowledge management.
-Recent graduate with a degree in Education, Educational Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
-Basic understanding of education programming and school systems.
-Strong writing and organizational skills.
-Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Ability to work with data and follow instructions carefully.
-Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and willingness to learn.
-Good communication skills in English.
-Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
-Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
