Position Overview
The successful applicant should be able to research and teach a wide variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A strong orientation towards Introduction to Ecology, Ecological Techniques and Introduction to the Freshwater Environment will be an added advantage. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and theses

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant should be able to research and teach a wide variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A strong orientation towards Introduction to Ecology, Ecological Techniques and Introduction to the Freshwater Environment will be an added advantage. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and theses.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have at least a Master’s Degree in the following: MSc in Tropical Resources Ecology, MSc in Applied Ecology, MSc in Conservation Ecology and any other related field and must demonstrate the ability to teach, provide university service, supervise and undertake research at the University level. Candidates with PhD qualifications will also have an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and theses.
