Plan International has been awarded the GC7 TB/HIV/RSSH grant from the Global Fund, and Plan International Liberia has been selected as the Principal Recipient to implement the grant with multiple partners, including the Ministry of Health (MOH) as Service Provider (SP).
The organization is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Driver to ensure the quality and compliance of Sub Recipients by providing ongoing support in research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
To drive Plan vehicles professionally within Plan’s vehicle policy, ensuring proper maintenance, and providing administrative support to Plan staff.
Key Responsibilities:
-Drive staff to and from work, as well as to field locations for activity implementation.
-Ensure the vehicle's daily good running condition and report any issues to the Operations Officer.
-Transport staff, authorized persons, materials, and equipment as directed by the Logistic Officer.
-Report any anomalies or incidents/accidents promptly.
-Adhere to the vehicle maintenance schedule and record fuel and maintenance costs.
-Maintain accurate records of all vehicle movements in corresponding logbooks.
-Ensure cleanliness and readiness of vehicles for use.
-Safely park vehicles in Plan premises when not in use, adhering to Plan’s vehicle policy.
-Signal the Operations Officer at least three months before the expiry date of administrative documents for vehicles.
-Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Accountabilities:

-Keeping the vehicle clean and ready for use.
-Ensuring the safety of staff and property during movement.
-Filling regular daily inspection sheets and monthly vehicle inspection records.
-Managing supplies and other equipment of the vehicle effectively.
-Maintaining car repair and maintenance records.
Dealing with Problems:
-The role involves resolving a wide range of challenges related to vehicle management and safety. The Driver ensures compliance with Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and
Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI).
Key Relationships:
-The Driver has high contact with Plan Liberia Administrative and Plan Liberia team.

-High school graduate with WAEC/WASSCE.
-3-5 years of working experience in a similar position with a credible institution.
-Possession of a valid driving license and competence in preventive maintenance and vehicle administration.
-Eligibility to work in Liberia.
