Duties and Responsibilities
Care, and management of dogs for various purposes including security, law enforcement and therapy; Feed, exercise and groom dogs regularly to ensure their physical health and well-being; Inspect and assess the behavior of dogs to determine their temperament, ability and aptitude for training; Provide dogs with reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors; Handle dogs in different situations such as crowded public places, to ensure they are comfortable and can function effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
-A Certificate in Security Guard Training or its equivalent from a reputable Private Security Service Organisation/Public Security Policing Institution/Organisation or Provider; -At least five (5) "O" Level subjects, including English Language; -A minimum of two (2) years relevant post-qualification work experience in Public/Private Security Guarding at reputable organisations; -Clean Criminal Record and must be physically fit; -Be able to demonstrate work or exceptional quality, have good interpersonal skills and good customer service; -Proof of Security and/or Asset Protection Operations Experience would be an added advantage; -Previous experience as a Dog Handler; -Feed, exercise and groom dogs regularly to ensure their physical health and well-being; Inspect and assess the behavior of dogs to determine their temperament, ability and aptitude for training; -Provide dogs with positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors and -Handle dogs in different situations, such as crowded public places to ensure they are comfortable and can function effectively.
