Post: Dog Handler

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible to the Sgt in-charge campus for the maintenance of law and order
Train dogs to obey commands, perform tasks, and behave well in public.
Provide daily care, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs.
Handle dogs in various situations such as searches and patrols.
Collaborate with other handlers, trainers and stakeholders.
Maintain records of dog training, behaviour and health.
Ensure that equipment, such as harnesses and leashes are in good condition.
Coordinate training sessions, deployments, and veterinary appointments.
Perform any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

5 O-level subjects with English Language.
Basic training in security from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years’ experience in security.
Dog handlers’ certificate.
Should be 45 years and below.
Skills and Competences

Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work as a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to follow and give instructions clearly.
