DIRECTOR – PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT & REAL ESTATE

Shangfu Investments (Private) Limited, a growing property development and real estate investment company based in Harare, Zimbabwe, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced and dynamic Director to lead the company's strategic growth and operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's property development, investment, construction management, and real estate activities while driving sustainable growth and profitability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
• Professional qualifications in Project Management, Corporate Governance, Real Estate Development, or Construction Management will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and corporate governance for the company.
• Develop and implement the company's business growth and investment strategies.
• Identify and evaluate new property development and investment opportunities.
• Lead project planning, financing, implementation, and execution processes.
• Oversee residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial development projects.
• Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
• Develop project budgets and oversee financial performance.
• Monitor project delivery timelines, quality standards, and risk management systems.
• Supervise senior management and project teams.
• Negotiate and secure investment funding and strategic partnerships.
• Prepare and present business reports to shareholders and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years' senior management experience.
• Proven experience in property development, construction, infrastructure development, or real estate investment.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Excellent project management and financial management skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and business development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage large-scale development projects and multidisciplinary teams.

REMUNERATION
An attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered to the successful candidate.
