The Data Analyst, based in the Research, Assessment, and Monitoring Unit, will play a vital role in supporting WFP's priorities. The focus will be on conducting analysis and interpreting results to generate evidence that informs operations and measures program performance and impact.
-Assist in developing electronic data collection tools and prepare syntaxes/scripts for calculating outcome indicators.
-Create online visualizations supporting real-time evidence-based insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
-Develop a data library, ensuring the archiving and use of data sets for primary and secondary purposes.
-Make data available in real-time, conducting regular data review meetings with stakeholders.
-Prepare and update online tools for tracking the implementation of monitoring and review recommendations.
-Ensure adherence to corporate data protection and privacy principles in the entire data processing system.
-Support the building of data bridges, linking data to centralized databases in alignment with WFP data ontology and classification.
-Prepare reports and data analysis, highlighting trends/issues and ensuring adherence to corporate standards and quality control.
-Liaise with internal counterparts for effective collaboration, implementation, and monitoring of ongoing project activities.
-Assist in planning, monitoring, and reconciling budgets for efficient financial resource utilization.
-Education: University degree in a relevant measurement field (statistics, data science, econometrics, or research) with additional related work experience and/or training/courses.
-Experience: 6 years of related work experience with Tableau, quantitative data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, and/or R), qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, MAXQDA, and/or ATLAS.ti), and Python required. Experience with additional programming languages is a plus.
-Experience in designing and conducting advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses and generating evidence-based dashboards and reports is highly desirable.
