Position Overview: As a Dam Drainage engineer, you will be responsible for assessing the water flow patterns and behaviour around the dam to create effective drainage systems to insure the stability of the dam structures.
Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
-Professional Experience: Several years of experience in drainage systems design and construction is often necessary. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in drainage design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or similar tools. -Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee projects from planning to completion. -Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with stakeholders. -Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal drainage regulations and standards. -Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex drainage issues. -Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as those from professional engineering organizations, can be beneficial. -Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A -Master’s degree or additional certifications in civil, mechanical or engineering is highly desirable. -Minimum 4 years of experience in Civil /mechanical engineering , with a strong focus on mining applications.
