Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will among other duties be responsible for preparation of Hotel Management and Financial Accounts, processing payment for both Creditors and Statutory Requirements and submissions of such returns to ZIMRA, collection of resources as well as attending to accounting related queries by customers, compiling bank reconciliation statements, maintenance of asset register, supervision of junior staff, ensuring established controls and procedures are adhered to and any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have at least five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language and Mathematics and a Higher National Diploma with a Degree in Accounting being an added advantage. At least three (3) years working experience in a similar environment is a requirement. Knowledge of Pastel Accounting System is a pre-requisite and working towards a professional qualification will be an added advantage.
