Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Contract & Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of contract administration and procurement processes. The successful candidate will ensure that all project-related contracts and purchases comply with company policies, standards, and local regulations, while delivering best value for the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and manage procurement strategies for project materials, equipment, and services • Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, review, and execution • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and procurement policies • Manage vendor relationships and maintain supplier performance records • Monitor procurement schedules and budgets to align with project timelines • Coordinate with project managers, legal teams, and other departments for smooth contract and procurement operations • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement practices
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, or related field • Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is an added advantage • Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in contract management and procurement, preferably in the construction or engineering sector • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and risk management principles • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
