Duties and Responsibilities
Execute and verify if End of Cycle batches or processes are executing correctly keeping track of start and end times to ensure systems availability within SLA limits. Resolve any EOC challenges timeously as per resolution and escalation procedures. Document all EOC challenges encountered through call logging and updating the EOC known errors database. Generate and check the correctness of reports during End of day processes and monitor progress for errors and capture errors to facilitate regeneration of all failed reports. Maintain all IT systems availability at SLA levels. Proactively perform capacity management activities on Data Center systems. Perform synchronization of database systems at regular intervals as per best practice to minimize data loss and inconsistencies. Resolve IT Service Desk calls and always maintain zero overdue calls. Prepare weekly and monthly update reports of any exceptions. Undertake any other duties, tasks, assignments, and projects as may be delegated/assigned by Management from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution. 5 Years’ experience of Computer Operations in a Data Center environment. Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills. Knowledge of Banking Systems. Knowledge of Windows and Linux Environments. Good Communication Skills. Ability to do shift work with night shift component.
