We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to design, implement, and oversee civil infrastructure projects within our mining operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for improving the efficiency of mining projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and manage civil engineering projects including roads, structures, and drainage systems for mining operations. - Provide technical guidance and oversight on site development and construction activities. - Ensure all projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. - Collaborate with project managers, geotechnical engineers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution. - Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project progress and address any technical issues. - Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the miningIndustry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software. - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including geotechnical and structural engineering. - Excellent communication and project management skills. - Professional engineering license is a plus.
