CHINESE TRANSLATOR

Duties and Responsibilities

- Translate spoken conversations between Chinese-speaking personnel and local employees.
- Provide interpretation during meetings, briefings, interviews and workplace discussions.
- Translate written documents, reports, notices and company communications between Chinese and English.
- Assist with communication between Chinese management and local employees.
- Interpret workplace instructions, operational procedures and health and safety information accurately.
- Assist with translating technical and mining-related terminology where necessary.
- Ensure that messages are communicated clearly and accurately without changing their intended meaning.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling company information and sensitive documents.
- Support communication during training sessions and other company activities.
- Perform other translation and interpretation duties as assigned by management.
