The Child Formation and Nurture Officer position is responsible for the following:
Coordination and timely implementation of activities that pertains to spiritual nurture for children in WV covered areas. Provide technical support and inputs to Operations team in the implementation of SNC initiatives. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of SNC initiatives and children reached on SNC. Coordinate with sponsorship to properly documented the children reached of SNC. Provide help in the implementation of mental health initiatives and projects. Coordinate and provide capacity building of community partners in providing spiritual nurture for children. Adheres to World Vision policies and guidelines, including safeguarding, data privacy, safety and security protocols and WV code of conduct. Demonstrates a Christ-centered life and work in working with the children, families and communities, partners and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
The position will provide leadership and support to Spiritual Nurture of Children within the organization. Child Formation and Nurture Officer will be reporting and supporting to F&D Manager. He/ She is expected to work closely with field office operations to ensure that all children in WV covered areas received spiritual nurture. He/ She will lead and support the implementations of SNC Core Project Models and approaches.
The Child Formation and Nurture Officer will work closely with sponsorship team to ensure that all registered children in WV covered areas received spiritual nurture and care. He/ She will closely monitor the SNC of children in Area Programs. He/ She will work, coordinate and provide opportunity for partners of WV in providing proper spiritual nurture for children. Part also of His/ Her work is to provide help in the area of mental health or spiritual resiliency.
