Precision Recruitment International is representing a leading heavy equipment and machinery company in Zimbabwe, currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a mechanical engineering background and demonstrate expertise in Supply Chain Management, Sales, Logistics, Management, and have strong financial acumen.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth. -Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining processes or introducing new policies and procedures. -Dealer Relationship Management. -Coordination of Sales and Marketing activities. -Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction. -Supply Chain Management and Logistics. -Team and personnel management. -Security management. -Planning contingencies to troubleshoot operational breakdowns. -Reporting. -Identifying and mentoring succession planning. -Manage compliance with regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Operations Management. -MBA would be an added advantage. -Experience dealing with "Heavy" machinery. -Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an Operational Leadership Role.
