CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) - Set Light Investment (PVT) LTD

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Planning:
• Lead financial strategy development, long-term planning, and budgeting
• Manage financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance monitoring
• Oversee financial models for production forecasting and cost optimisation
• Provide executive-level financial advice to support strategic decision-making

Financial Controls & Compliance:
• Oversee internal controls, audits, and compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
• Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Manage tax planning, regulatory filings, and compliance with ZIMRA and other authorities

Risk Management:
• Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments across manufacturing operations
• Implement financial risk mitigation strategies
• Oversee cost control, wastage management, and procurement financial structuring

Supply Chain & Operations Finance:
• Manage supplier payments, procurement financing, and multi-currency transactions
• Oversee financial planning for raw-material procurement, machinery acquisition, and inventory control
• Support expansion projects, technology upgrades, and capital investment programmes

People Leadership & Skills Development:
• Lead and mentor finance personnel
• Implement capacity-building initiatives and strengthen financial governance
• Oversee development of internal financial policies, systems, and procedures
