ABOUT SET LIGHT INVESTMENT (PVT) LTD Set Light Investment (PVT) LTD is a growing industrial and casual footwear manufacturing company serving both domestic and regional markets. The company is investing in production expansion, new product lines, and international supply-chain partnerships. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial management, risk control, and corporate governance functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Planning: • Lead financial strategy development, long-term planning, and budgeting • Manage financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance monitoring • Oversee financial models for production forecasting and cost optimisation • Provide executive-level financial advice to support strategic decision-making
Financial Controls & Compliance: • Oversee internal controls, audits, and compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements • Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports • Manage tax planning, regulatory filings, and compliance with ZIMRA and other authorities
Supply Chain & Operations Finance: • Manage supplier payments, procurement financing, and multi-currency transactions • Oversee financial planning for raw-material procurement, machinery acquisition, and inventory control • Support expansion projects, technology upgrades, and capital investment programmes
People Leadership & Skills Development: • Lead and mentor finance personnel • Implement capacity-building initiatives and strengthen financial governance • Oversee development of internal financial policies, systems, and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related discipline • Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is an added advantage • Minimum 8 years senior financial management experience • Experience in manufacturing finance, supply-chain finance, or industrial operations preferred • Strong understanding of financial modelling, risk management, and corporate governance • Proven ability to manage multi-currency environments and complex procurement systems • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
