The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and applying advanced analytical models, algorithms and data driven strategies to support research, policy and decision making at the university.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Conduct data analysis and modeling -Provide research and innovation support -Support business intelligence and reporting -Manage infrastructure and tool development -Provide mentorship and training to students and junior staff -Conduct workshops and seminars on AI, data science, and analytics.
Qualifications and Experience
-Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. -At least two (2) years experience in a data science or applied analytics role. -Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL. -Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch. -Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
