Vacancy 2: Cattle Manager A cattle farm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cattle Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the farm and supervise cattle herders. Position: Cattle Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage all cattle farm operations effectively. -Supervise and coordinate cattle herders and farm workers. -Monitor cattle feeding, dipping, vaccination and health management. -Ensure proper breeding, handling and care of livestock. -Maintain farm records, stock counts and production reports. -Monitor grazing areas and water supply for livestock. -Ensure farm equipment and facilities are properly maintained. -Implement farm safety and security procedures. -Report farm performance and challenges to management.
Qualifications and Experience
-Minimum of 10 years experience in cattle management. -Proven experience supervising cattle herders and farm workers. -Strong knowledge of livestock care and farm operations. -Must be above 35 years of age. -Good leadership and communication skills. -Must have traceable references. -Ability to work independently and manage farm activities efficiently.
