Background A local faith based organization seeks the services of a Clinical Psychologists to support its work. Purpose of the position The purpose of this position is to support the well-being of our clients. The Psychologists will collaborate with social workers in ensuring that the mental health and wellbeing of our clients is well catered for.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting routine client check-ups to assess their wellbeing and health condition and discover possible issues Giving appropriate advice for healthy habits and preventative actions to promote overall health Reaching an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history Help clients address mental health concerns or adjust their behaviors Developing and recommending treatment plans based on client needs and diagnosis Providing referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment Collaborating other professionals to provide the best care possible
Qualifications and Experience
Desired Qualifications, technical skills and experience BSc Honors Degree in Psychology A post graduate/Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology. Up to date registration with the Allied Health Professions Council/Equivalent. At least 4 years of practicing
