job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Career Coach to guide and mentor students and professionals in the following faculties as part time (event based):

Engineering and Technology, Business Management and Economics
Arts and Humanities, Agriculture and Environmental studies
Sports and Recreation, Built Environment
Social Sciences, Law and Legal Studies
Natural Sciences, Health Sciences (Medicine)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career coaching and mentoring to students and professionals.
• Develop and implement career development programs tailored for the particular faculty.
• Assist individuals in identifying their career goals and creating actionable plans to achieve them.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on career development topics.
• Stay updated on industry trends and job market demands to provide relevant guidance.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment for all mentees.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/Masters/HND in the above faculties or relevant fields with minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Proven experience in career coaching, talent development, or in any above career field.
• Strong understanding of the job market and industry trends in the specified faculties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate individuals at different stages of their career journey.
• Strong planning and presentation skills.
