This role exists to centralise the purchasing of all consumable stocks required for the day to day running of ABC Auctions. There is an expectation that the holder of the role will be able to create savings for the company through relationships with suppliers and efficient price comparisons prior to making purchases

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive requisitions from other departments to coordinate acquisitions of quotations for procurement procedures which include researching, selecting

Qualifications and Experience

Procurement or equivalent diploma or certiticate
Or. Qualification by experience - minimum of 3 years in a similar role
Negotiation skills
Understanding of pricing structures, rates and expense implications
Computer literacy - proficiency in Outlook. Word and Excel
