Meat & More is a leading supplier of high-quality meat and related products to retail and wholesale customers. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Butchery/Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales growth.
Job Summary: We are looking for a results-driven, highly motivated and experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of our butchery, managing a team, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene, providing excellent customer service, and develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our meat and related products to retail and wholesale customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the meat industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in butchery management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of butchery staff - Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety - Order and manage stock levels, including meat, poultry, and other products - Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer base - Build and maintain relationships with retail and wholesale customers. - Create and execute promotional campaigns (digital, print, and events). - Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints - Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales, stock, and staffing
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in a butchery management role - Proven track record of managing a team and increasing sales - Strong knowledge of meat, poultry, and other products - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Relevant qualifications in butchery or a related field - Knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g. email marketing, social media advertising). - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Class 4 Drivers licence
