We are hiring a hands-on Branch Operations Officer to run our Mbare operations. This is a field role - you will be on the ground, working with clients, handling materials, and keeping numbers tight every single day.
Duties and Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Buy aluminium scrap and e-waste from clients - negotiate, weigh, and process transactions on the spot • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing material weights - zero tolerance for discrepancies • Calculate and balance daily books - cash in, material out, every day closed correctly • Conduct stock revisions every few days - physical count must match records • Track all client transactions: what came in, what went to the warehouse, what left the account • Push volumes - actively grow the client base and buying activity in the area • Gather and report market intelligence
Qualifications and Experience
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Valid driver's licence - non-negotiable • Strong with numbers - you must be able to balance books and spot errors fast • Street smart and people smart - Mbare is a fast market, you need to move with it • Hungry to earn - base salary + volume bonuses means your income grows with your results • Honest and accountable - we run a tight operation, integrity is everything • Experience in trading, buying, or cash-handling environments is a strong advantage • Based in or near Mbare preferred
