Job Vacancy: Bedroom Hand We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Bedroom Hand to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Cleaning of guest rooms and bathrooms: This includes making beds, dusting, and vacuuming floors. -Re-servicing of rooms: Changing linen and ensuring all amenities are stocked. -Maintaining cleanliness in corridors and surrounding lodge areas. -Reporting any maintenance issues or faulty room equipment to the supervisor promptly. -Carrying out laundry duties as required. -Welcoming guests and providing relevant information about the lodge as needed. -Reporting any items left behind by guests to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements: -A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes, including English (or equivalent education). -At least two (2) years of working experience in a similar position, preferably within a hotel or lodge environment. -Demonstrable planning skills and excellent time management skills. -A high level of attention to detail is essential. -Good communication and interpersonal skills. -Well-groomed and presentable.
