We seek a AWS Cloud Architect with over 15 years of experience to be a key team player in further design and development of the platform & its technology of one of our clients. You must be able to quickly join a team of senior international AWS professionals! Regular travel to Namibia will be necessary.
Our client is a major player in the transportation sector, thus immediate delivery at the highest level will be essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be:
Strategize, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clarify technical details with a development team and ensure our interests are met Participate in standup as well as Sprint, design, architecture and other planning meetings Support upcoming junior and intermediate AWS professionals
Qualifications and Experience
Your profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven professional experience as a backend developer, with a focus on web-based applications. An extensive understanding of cloud architecture and AWS services. Excellent/Very strong knowledge of AWS, SQL Strong proficiency in backend and cloud technologies - Java, React and Typescript etc a strong bonus Additional knowledge of DevOps tools, GitHub, Jira, Version control, static code testing etc, agile development strong advantage.
