Position: Assistant Chef
We are looking for a motivated and professional Assistant Chef to support our Head Chef in managing all daily kitchen activities and food production. -Assist with daily food preparation, cooking, and plating of high-quality dishes.
-Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation, meeting the lodge’s high standards.
-Help plan and design new menus and develop recipes using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible.
-Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to control kitchen costs.
-Comply with and enforce all sanitation regulations, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
-A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel, resort, or lodge setting.
-Comprehensive knowledge of various cuisines and food trends, with an absolute passion for food preparation.
-Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
-Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
