CENTRAL SERVICES, AMENITIES AND MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
Post M: Assistant Builder (1 Post: Kwekwe Campus)

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
-Building strong and sustainable structures
-Interpreting work drawings with accuracy
-Executing construction tasks: brick/block laying, plastering, tiling
-Assisting supervisors with design, planning, and installation
-Carrying out renovations and refurbishments
-Performing general building maintenance
-Ensuring compliance with building by-laws
-Contributes to departmental success by performing all essential duties as assigned.

-Good analytical and problem-solving skills
-The ability to multitask
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Effective verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications and Experience

-Class 2 or 3 Journeyman Certificate in Building
-A minimum of 2 years professional work experience as a Builder
-Competence in tiling is a must.
