Duties and Responsibilities
This is a contract Artisan Fitter role located on-site at Arenel Foods in Bulawayo Province, Zimbabwe. Daily responsibilities include assembling, fitting and testing machinery and equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults, and maintaining and improving machinery and equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
-Proven experience as an Artisan Fitter or similar role -Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery -Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics -Able to use precision measuring tools -Good physical fitness and hand-eye coordination -Ability to work independently and in a team -Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is an advantage -Certification in Fitting and Turning, Mechanical Engineering or related field
