Duties and Responsibilities

-Provide technical support to field assessors, underwriting, and claims teams.
-Conduct surveys and inspections of all crop and livestock risks.
-Represent the company at agricultural shows, farmers/field days, and relevant forums to build strong customer relationships and retention.
-Crop Loss adjustments.
-Assist the Agronomist with tobacco assessments.
-Supervise small-scale farms.
-Facilitate the resolution of technical queries raised by reinsurers.
-Perform any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

-Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, crop science, or equivalent.
-5 years in the agriculture business with at least 2 years of insurance experience.
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, prioritization, and negotiating skills.
-Good analytical skills.
-Strong moral standing.
-Ability to be a team player.
-Clean class 4 Driver’s license; ability to ride a motorcycle is an added advantage.
-Excellent and demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
