Position Available: Agile Business Analyst - Mobile (Mukuru)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst who thrives on challenges. In this role, you will have the chance to advance your career in a fast-paced, agile team environment, collaborating across different business verticals. As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in building and operating enterprise-level systems, with a specific focus on the mobile application platform. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Domain: Customer, the role involves internal liaison with stakeholders, product owners, development teams, business leaders, users, project management, and application support. Occasional travel may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels and business areas to elicit requirements. -Assist in prioritizing work to maximize return on investment (ROI). -Conduct requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, etc. -Analyze business needs, document requirements, and translate them into user stories. -Communicate needs effectively to both business and technical stakeholders. -Maintain a backlog of requirements ready for sprints. -Support Scrum teams in understanding customer and business requirements. -Liaise with the development team for estimation on work. -Work with the QA department to ensure functionality aligns with business requirements. -Assist in drafting user and training documentation. -Liaise with industry partners regarding service integration and product offerings. -Manage personal and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
-Degree/Diploma with a focus on Information Systems (Essential). -Recognized business analysis/agile/information systems/UX qualification (Desirable). -Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis or a similar role (Essential). -Previous experience in an Agile environment, preferably Scrum. -Experience in the financial industry (Desirable). -Experience in developing custom mobile applications (Essential). -Experience working with REST APIs (Desirable). -Experience dealing with compliance regulations – KYC and Foreign Exchange Control (Desirable). -Knowledge and ability to translate requirements into user stories, process diagrams, and data flows. -Knowledge of project scoping, planning & prioritization. -Knowledge of agile and UX methodology. -Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to obtain descriptive and exhaustive requirements from stakeholders.
