We are currently recruiting bank tellers to join our team across 36 branches in Zimbabwe. At CABS, we prioritize convenience and efficiency in serving our customers. As a bank teller, your responsibilities will include handling cash transactions, addressing customer inquiries, and providing courteous and friendly service.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide world-class service by attending to teller-related transactions and banking requirements following laid-down procedures. -Identify cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and adhere to branch operations manual, standing instructions, circulars, and directives from regulators. -Authenticate clients and transactions, following relevant procedures and policies to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud, risks, and losses. -Confirm actual cash on hand against system balances at the start and end of the day, taking corrective action promptly. -Comply with teller limits and report any discrepancies in cash on hand immediately to management. -Prepare transactional documents and originals in the required format and deadline for filing purposes. -Greet clients warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and ask questions to ensure a comprehensive understanding. -Deliver on identified needs, following appropriate processes and procedures, providing feedback to clients to build relationships and retain them. -Identify opportunities to suggest solutions that better meet customer needs, referring relevant areas for cross-selling opportunities. -Stay informed about CABS risk and compliance requirements through reading circulars, standing instructions, and attending relevant sessions. -Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective operational strategies to add value to CABS. -Act as a brand ambassador by displaying appropriate behavior and upholding CABS values.
