The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the
following posts in the Bursar’s Department: -
1. ACCOUNTANT/PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTANT (2 POSTS)
POST A: STUDENT ACCOUNTS SETION
POST B: BUDGETARY SECTION
The duties will include but not limited to the following
Assisting in the preparation and coordination of annual University budgets.
Providing Secretarial services to relevant committees.
Producing monthly Final accounts and Management reports.
Budgetary Control.
Maintaining, Controlling and production of Students’ year end Accounts and other Financial
statements
Maintaining and controlling of other students’ related Accounts
Performing Secretarial duties for relevant accounts.
Applicants must have a First degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent plus at least four years post
qualification experience OR an MSc qualification with at least two years post qualification experience
in a university environment.
