EcoCash Holdings is looking for a competent Accountant to join its Ecosure team. The role exists to produce accurate statutory and operational financial reports, annual budgets & forecasts. Also to ensure timeous payments to Service Providers as per Service Level Agreement by producing accurate and complete reports that feed into the various accounting systems and modules for accounts payables, accounts receivables, receipts, payments, treasury, fixed assets, investments and taxation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides input in the determination of tariffs and pricing for products and services.Coordinates all departments to obtain budget input for preparation of the consolidated budget.Analyses business performance through variance analysis report and recommends appropriate course of action to management.Reviews and analyses operational (daily, weekly, monthly) financial and non-financial information to produce key performance indicators (KPI) for management decision making process.Prepares technical accounting papers to address complex accounting problems.Decides on allocation of funds across banks to manage risk and regulatory limits.Reviews of all bank reconciliation statements to detect errors and fraudulent transactions.Checks PAYE, Withholding Tax, NSSA, Zimdev, SDL returns and payments for accuracy before submission to the relevant statutory bodies.
Qualifications and Experience
-4- 6 years’ experience in a similar position -Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CIMA -Degree in Accounting -Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
