Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• A Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in any discipline of Medical Laboratory
Sciences.
• Specialist Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences in Clinical Chemistry.
• At least one year relevant experience working in a Clinical Laboratory or an
academic/research institution.
• Practising certificate/current registration with Medical Laboratory and Clinical
Scientist Council of Zimbabwe (MLCSCZ).

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• A Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in any discipline of Medical Laboratory Sciences
or an equivalent Biomedical qualification in Medical Bacteriology/
Mycology/Parasitology/Virology
• At least one year relevant experience working in a Clinical Laboratory or an
academic/research institution.
• Practicing certificate/current registration with Medical Laboratory and Clinical
Scientist Council of Zimbabwe (MLCSCZ).

• Part III Specialist Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences in any of the following
disciplines is an added advantage; Microbiology, Immunology, Histology, Clinical
Chemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science.
• At least two (2) years relevant experience working in a Clinical Laboratory.
• Be registered with the Medical Laboratory and Scientists Council of Zimbabwe.

• Have at least, 5 years post-qualification experience.
1.3.1 Pharmacy Technician (1 Post)

Applicants should have:
• A Pharmacy Technician Diploma.
• Have a minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes including English Language, Science and
Mathematics at Grade C, or better.
• Hands on experience in working in a hospital pharmacy set up.
1.3.2 Instrument Technician (1 Post)

Applicants should have:
• First degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy
• A postgraduate qualification in Analytical Chemistry is an added advantage.
• Have a minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes including English Language, Science and
Mathematics at Grade C, or better.
• Hands on experience in running LC-MS Lab, Laboratory Quality Management System,
Pharmaceutical Analysis.
1.4 Department of Surgical Sciences (Ophthalmology Unit)
1.4.1 Technician (1 Post)
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants should have:
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechatronics or Bachelor of Science Degree in
Telecommunications.
• Have a minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes including English Language, Science and
Mathematics at Grade C, or better.
• A minimum of five years relevant experience.
• Highly computer literate.
• Mature, creative individual with the ability to work under pressure and to
balance competing priority and meeting deadlines.
• A clean criminal record.
1.4.2 Nursing Sister (1 Post)

Applicants should have:
• State Registered Nurse with post basic qualification in Ophthalmic Nursing/Theatre
Nursing
• At lease five (5) years post qualification experience

preferably in a senior or management level.

• Must be a registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.

• A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the related field.

• A Higher National Diploma/ National Diploma/City and Guilds Part III Accounts and or
Business Studies or equivalent qualification in Medical
Electronic/Instrumentation/Biomedical Sciences/Biological Science or a related field.

• A minimum of three (3) years working experience in Laboratory or a similar set up,

• A Degree in Nursing Science.

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with midwifery.
• A minimum of five (5) years post basic qualification experience.
• The ability to demonstrate an understanding of clinical research and actively involved
