Gomora Gladys Actress Latest Pictures Leave Mzansi Drooling
Actress Thembi Seete recently left Mzansi drooling with her latest pictures.
Thembi Seete is currently making waves with her role on Gomora as Gladys, a role she has no doubt made her own.
While Gladys’ fashion choices are a bit ‘mom like’ and social worker attire, Thembi Seete took to reminding us that she can still bring the house down.
The former Boom Shaka singer once opened up on taking the role of Gladys, saying it reflected her upbringing and she felt compelled to take on the challenging role.
“As an actor and growing up in the streets of Soweto, I am inspired to take on challenging characters with nuances of my upbringing. There are many layers to my character Gladys and I am quite excited to unpack her struggles and mystique, which I am sure our viewers will appreciate”
Thembi Seete is one of the entertainment industry giants, as she has been in the showbizz for 27 years now , being a part of the Kwaito group, Boom Shaka, from 1994-2000.
She went on to launch a successful solo music career after that.
Her breakthrough role was in SABC1’s controversial drama series, Yizo Yizo
She went on to land a role on Gaz’lam on SABC1 playing the role of Lerato.
She had a role in made for TV, African movie, Crossing the Line as Pumla.
Thembi Seete also played the leading role as Nina Moloi on Zone 14.
Her music and acting career have managed to stay relevant, as many of her peers who started with her have faded into obscurity.
