Uzalo Mastermind Returns On Tonight’s Epic Episode
Things are about to get exciting in KwaMashu!
Everyone’s favorite gangster, Mastermind is back in town!
Last we saw Mastermind, he was locked behind bars, but it seems he will be released from prison and will arrive, guns blazing on a bike.
Mastermind’s return is going to coincide with MaNgcobo’s grand heist, which will see Dawn Thandeka King, who plays the character, exiting the show.
This follows reports which started a few months ago, that TK Dlamini was set to reprise his role as Mastermind.
Uzalo announced on their Instagram account that Mastermind is hitting town, writing

TK Dlamini confirmed his return on Instagram, saying

Tonight, letâs meet at 20:30 on SABC1 @uzalo_sabc1
This means Uzalo fans finally get their wish, after two years of demanding the return of Mastermind and his sidekick Mxolisi, who is yet to make an appearance.
TK Dlamini left Uzalo two years ago to focus on other projects
However, the show runners have always maintained that he would come back, they left the door for the character’s return open saying
Weâd like to make it clear that he was never dismissed or suspended, we can confirm that TK Dlamini, also known as Mastermind, will be appearing on Uzalo in the near future,” .
