Description UNIVERSITY OF ZIMBABWE Applications from suitably qualified members are invited to fill the following posts: DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING INFRASTRUCTURE AND ESTATES MANAGER, WORKSHOPS & PLANT Duties and Responsibilities ? Provide innovative solutions, goods and services for the Vehicle Workshop and Industrial Production Plant Sections that bring revenue and grovfih not only to the Workshop and Plant Division but to the whole Department; ? Vehicle workshops; ? Production Plant workshops; ? Vehicle fleet servicing and maintenance management; ? Processing plant operations and maintenance; ? Internship mentoring and skilling.

Work/Educational Requirements ?

Bachelor of Science/8achelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

? Relevant Master's degree

? Membership of an acceptable Engineering Professional Institution

? Licensed by the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe

? At least 5 years post qualification relevant experience in the Engineering Sector of which 2 years are at management level

? Proficiency in computer skills

? Good co-ordination skills

? Ability to work well in a team

? Can stay calm under pressure and still make good decisions

? Attention to detail

? Multi tasker
