Tender: Provision of Borehole Drilling and Solarization Services, and Piped Water Schemes Installation: CARE Zimbabwe Deadline: 21 June 2022 (5pm)
Project scope
CARE Zimbabwe invites interested qualified vendors to express interest in construction of solarized boreholes and piped water schemes in four districts of its operations of Zaka and Chivi in Masvingo Province and Buhera and Mutare districts of Manicaland Provinces. The number of boreholes to be installed in the four districts will be determined at a later date and is estimated at about 15-20 per district.
CARE Zimbabwe is therefore calling for Expression of Interest from eligible vendors who can meet the stated requirements. At this stage the CARE would like to expand its vendor database who will be requested to provide location specific quotes for each borehole or piped water scheme as appropriate locations are determined by the communities, government, and project staff.

Annexed to this Background Documents. Shortlisted suppliers will be invited to submit detailed technical and financial proposal which shall be evaluated.

The expression of interest shall close on 21st of June 2022 at 1700 hours. Fully filled in Vendor Identification Form and required documents are to be submitted to zim.tenders@care.org Late applications / submissions will not be considered.
Vendors can apply for both borehole drilling and the piped water schemes, however separate applications should be made for each.
CARE will hold a vendor briefing session on 14th of June 2022 @ 1500hour Harare time. To participate please send an email to zim.procurements@care.org two days before the briefing session.
Please note that participation in this Call does not guarantee selection as project partner. All applying organizations will be informed about the outcome of their submission.
